About Beth

a kick butt trainer with a bit of attitude and some serious zest for life who’s ready to rock your world.

Beth Alexander teaches people how to move well, live well and be well. She is a Santa Barbara, California based personal trainer with a passion for teaching proper posture and movement patterns. Certified through both the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise, Beth teaches privates, classes and workshops in Santa Barbara and beyond.

Beth works with clients of all levels, including athletes, executives, community leaders, teens and senior citizens. Her specialty is integrated movement—teaching people to use muscles to work together for healthy functional movements. Beth wants her clients to thrive, and gives them the training they need to keep doing what they love to do. Beth’s personal life mission is to create long-lasting positive waves of change in the world—and right now training posture and movement is her vehicle for doing that.

Her lifelong love for learning about how the body moves began as a three-year old in “tiny toes” dance classes, and she continues to revel in learning about the human body through a variety of perspectives. At U.C. Santa Barbara, Beth studied Communication and Exercise and Sports Studies, and culminated her Bachelor’s Degree in a Senior Honors Thesis exploring the impact of human touch in health professions. Beth is a LOLË ambassador, avid Indoor Cycling instructor, loves wine and is hoping to become a Sommelier in the next few years. She is a self-proclaimed hybrid trainer-entrepreneur, as she grew up in Silicon Valley and loves exploring the intersection of fitness and technology.
